ভয়েস অব আমেরিকা বাংলা বিভোগের ৫৫ বর্ষ পূর্তি ও প্রয়াত ডি-এক্সার জামান সিদ্দিকীর স্মরণে সভা

প্রিয় বন্ধুরা,

গতকাল আমরা ভয়েস অব আমেরিকা বাংলা বিভাগের প্রধান রোকেয়া হায়দারের সাথে মিলিত হয়েছিলাম ঢাকার জাতীয় প্রেসক্লাবের ভিআইপি লাউঞ্জে। ভয়েস অব আমেরিকা বাংলা বিভাগের ৫৫ বছর পূর্তির এই অনুষ্ঠানের পুরোটা জুড়ে ছিল আমাদের প্রিয় ডি-এক্সার এম বি জামান সিদ্দিকীর স্মরণে বিভিন্ন জনের কথা। আমাদের প্রিয় রোকেয়া হায়দার আপার খুব প্রিয় একজন মানুষ ছিলেন জামান ভাই। জামান সিদ্দিকীর স্মরণে কিছু বলতে গিয়ে আপা কান্নায় ভেঙ্গে পড়েন। পুরো অডিটরিয়ামের পরিবেশ ভারী হয়ে উঠে। অনুষ্ঠানের প্রথমে কোরআন তেলাওয়াত এবং জামান সিদ্দিকী ভাইয়ের রূহের মাগফেরাত কামনা করে দোয়া করা হয়। জামান সিদ্দিকী ভাইয়ের আরো একজন বন্ধু সাবেক জার্মানীর রাষ্ট্রদূত মি. মশউদ মান্নান সাহেবও স্মৃতি চারণা করেন। অনুষ্ঠানে জামান ভাইয়ের বোনেরা এসেছিলেন। সবার কাছে জামান ভাইয়ের জন্য দোয়া চেয়েছেন। সারাদেশ থেকে আসা শতাধিক শ্রোতার সবাই জামান ভাইকে স্মরণ করেছেন বিভিন্ন ভাবে। আমাদের প্রিয় আরেক সিনিয়র ডি-এক্সার এবং ভয়েস অব আমেরকা ফ্যান ক্লাবের সক্রিয় কর্মী চুয়াডাঙ্গার আব্দুল্লাহ ভাই অসুস্থতার কারণে অনুষ্ঠানের যোগ দিতে পারিনি।

আমরা গভীরভাবে শোকাহত!!!!!!!!!!

আমাদের সবার প্রিয় ঝিনাইদহের ডি-এক্সার জামান সিদ্দিকী ভাই আর আমাদের মাঝে নেই। আজ ভোরে তিনি ঢাকায় শেষ নি:শ্বাস ত্যাগ করেন। ইন্না লিল্লাহি ওয়া ইন্না ইলাহির রাজিউন...। আর কোন দিন দেখা বা কথা হবে না কারো সাথে কোন  বেতার শ্রোতা সম্মেলনে বা বেতার বিষয়ক কর্মকান্ডে। আমরা তার আত্মার মাগফেরাত কামনা করছি।
